Who Are They?

Baby Boomers are the generation who were born in the years immediately after the Second World War. In the war years their parents were focused on the war effort - survival, rationing, praying for their loved ones to return home safely. Somewhere along the line they became 'sophisticated'.

That's not to say they were rich, or snobs - they were aware of the world around them and the opportunities that were there to enrich their lives. They wanted more out of life than their parents had dreamed of.

As they settled into their adult years, most had families of their own, raising them very differently than they themselves were raised.

Approaching Retirement

They now approach, or have arrived at their retirement years. And in retirement too, they want more than their parents did. For the most part they have the education and financial security to make sure they get it.
